Painters Bio:

My name is Douglas Probst and I live outside the city of Philadelphia PA. I started out my adult life working as a full time Auto repair technician. After 10 years of auto repair, I made the jump to Computer programmer with the help of a friend. I have been working in the computer field for the past 10 years and currently work as a Unix System Administrator for a company in Ohio, from my home.

I purchased my first airbrush in September of 2004 to try and produce faux finishes on some Halloween props I was building. In November of the same year I stumbled onto a website that was dedicated to the art of Airbrush painting. With the help of some wonderfully kind and generous artist, I have discovered artistic ability I did not realize I possessed. I don’t think I will ever make a career of painting, but if someone had told me back in 1993 I would be a computer geek and work from home, I would have laughed in their face. For now, airbrushing is just a hobby/obsession, hopefully I can make a few bucks without it becoming work.
